Job Title:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Trade Sales Officer.

This dynamic position involves managing inbound general enquiries and sales calls from valued customers, providing product support, and delivering an exceptional customer experience while working to achieve and exceed sales targets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing customer records and pricing for our automotive parts database.
  • Assisting stores with expert knowledge to support access to the long tail range of products.
  • Liaising with internal departments and trade partners to deliver a strong offer to customers.
  • Identifying the optimum source for customer order fulfilment, considering lead time, availability, gross margin, and cost to serve.
  • Making key business decisions, thinking on your feet, and building strong relationships with customers and stores.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong automotive parts knowledge is highly desirable.
  • A passion for providing exceptional customer service.
  • Proven sales skills within a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to organise and prioritise your workload effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong computer skills with demonstrated understanding of the Microsoft suite.
