Job Overview

This is a unique field-based role that involves extensive travel to customer sites across the Asia-Pacific Region. The primary focus of this position will be to provide technical support and maintenance services to customers in line with their requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance, modifications, adjustments, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting on software control systems and equipment supporting gas turbines and compressors.
  • This individual will serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor to customers for timely and satisfactory resolution of concerns.
  • The ideal candidate will interface with various teams including customers, engineering, and management to ensure site operations and maintenance activities align with technical requirements.
  • They will collaborate with coworkers and customers to provide technical guidance and solve complex technical problems.
  • This role requires the ability to provide professional and timely reports related to field services activities and equipment status to both customers and management.
Requirements
  • The successful candidate must demonstrate relevant training, qualifications, and experience in Control Panels.
  • A significant amount of experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, start-up, and commissioning of pumps and auxiliary packages is required.
  • The ideal candidate should possess a strong customer service orientation mindset, with experience in leading customers through tough decisions.
  • Awareness of Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance and potential risks is essential.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are necessary to convey technical concepts to customers, both internal and external.
  • The ability to travel to customer locations, be flexible to customer demands, and available at short notice is required.
  • This role demands a motivated self-starter who can proactively take initiative to lead and solve problems with technical and analytical skills.
Working Arrangements
  • Travel to and work on customer sites across the Asia-Pacific Region in line with customer requirements.
  • In between work assignments, have free time in line with working time guidelines and fatigue management provisions.
  • Accrue annual leave which can be taken to extend time off.
