Summary STERIS is energizing its presence in Australia.
We're expanding our service team and are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to handle the installation, maintenance and repair of our wide range of equipment across Western Australia.
What You Will Do Develop and implement technical service function for STERIS equipment.
Perform equipment Installations, preventive maintenance and repairs on STERIS Equipment.
Interface with customers via customers visit / telephone / email to provide quality product support.
Diagnose Faults, perform urgent repairs and participate in a rotating weekly after-hours-on call roster.
Provide applications / user / technical training.
File product complaints according to company procedures.
Assist with spare parts inventory management for various products.
Identify training needs and make recommendations.
Maintain preventive maintenance and troubleshooting and document accordingly.
Document and update internal procedures.
Manage and maintain equipment / spares database file through accurate documentations of movement, tracking and repair statuses.
Deliver a superior level of customer after sales support.
The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed Required: Trade Certificate/Technical Certificate/Diploma with strong hands-on technical service experience Restricted Electrical License Experience in troubleshooting, repair, modify, overhaul, or refurbish standard and special purpose equipment and systems components Valid driver's license and possess own vehicle (car allowance will be provided), willingness to travel within New South Wales.
Flexibility to carry out work duties occasionally beyond ordinary working hour.
Preferred: Full Electrical License is an advantage.
Able to operate a computer, have an intermediate understanding of DOS and Windows, as well as proficient in Microsoft Office software packages, such as Word, Excel, and Power Point Others: Visual acuity and manual dexterity are necessary to manipulate tools and equipment to perform essential functions.
