We are seeking an experienced and passionate leader to oversee a children's home in Tamworth. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential childcare, leadership and management, and a commitment to providing high-quality care and support to young people.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing Operations:
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare and development of all young people
  • Ensure that all young people's needs are being met and recognise changes in behaviour
  • Leading a Team:
  • Lead a team to provide a safe environment that meets the needs of the young people
  • Supervise senior support workers and residential support workers
  • Safeguarding Practices:
  • Respond to safeguarding concerns and follow correct processes
  • Staff Management:
  • Complete rota for the home and maintain staffing levels
  • Relationship Building:
  • Develop good trusting relationships with young people and other professionals

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a strong sense of responsibility, leadership skills, and a passion for working with young people.
