Training and Technical Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Training and Technical Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering engaging technical training to internal teams and external customers, as well as providing on-site technical support and advice.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the building/construction industry, with experience in facilitating group and individual learning. Familiarity with our product portfolio is highly regarded.

You will play a key role in growing product and technical knowledge across our teams and customers, driving commercial outcomes and supporting our state strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Engaging Technical Training: Develop and deliver competency-based technical training programs that meet the needs of our internal teams and external customers.
  • Provide On-Site Technical Support: Offer technical expertise and guidance to ensure correct and consistent product solutions.
  • Champion Learning and Development: Build confidence and capability in render systems, textures, topcoats, cladding, and specialty finishes.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with cross-functional teams to build and manage a 12-month training plan.
Requirements:
  • Strong Industry Background: You will have training experience with some knowledge within the building/construction industry, or you may have a strong industry background in the building / construction industry, with a focus on facades and be looking at moving into a Training role.
  • Familiarity with Product Portfolio: Experience working with similar products or technologies is highly regarded.
  • Facilitation Skills: Proven ability to facilitate group and individual learning sessions.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
