Job Opportunity: Gas Line Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Gas Line Specialist. The ideal candidate will have expertise in installing, maintaining, and repairing gas lines and equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain meters and regulators, ensuring efficient gas flow and safety standards are met.
  • Measure and mark reference points for accurate installation of gas lines and equipment.
  • Prepare quotations and tenders for clients, providing detailed estimates and materials required.
  • Repair and service gas appliances and related equipment, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
  • Advise clients on best practices for maintaining gas units and systems, emphasizing importance of regular maintenance and safety checks.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of pipes and piping connections for gas leaks using specialized equipment.
  • Estimate costs and materials required for projects, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Install and service propane and natural gas filling stations, meeting high standards of quality and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Gas Fitter Certificate - Level 2 or B.
  • Criminal record check.
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Steel-toed safety boots.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be a team player with a positive attitude, and be physically capable of working in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines.

Working conditions will include standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
