Career Opportunity

A career opportunity exists for a graduate geotechnical engineer or engineering geologist to join our Port Melbourne office, providing construction support, temporary works design, site investigations, and advice to clients in the infrastructure, energy, and construction space.

About the Role
  • The role will be predominately site based throughout Melbourne and wider Victoria, with opportunities to work on local and state-wide projects.
  • You will be responsible for delivering high-quality results and contributing to the success of our team.
Key Requirements
  • A Civil Engineering, Geology, or Earth Science degree is essential.
  • Prior experience working in a geotechnical consultancy carrying out field work tasks is desirable.
  • You must hold valid full-time working rights in Australia and have a strong ability to complete strenuous fieldwork tasks.
  • Additionally, you will need to be able to travel when required and possess a full Australian driver's license.
  • A desire to work outside with a love of rocks, soil, and geology is also essential.
  • Good interpersonal skills and exceptional organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary package, estimated at AU$80,000 - AU$120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Provision of minimum 50 hours of training/CPD per year and paid membership to Engineers Australia/New Zealand.

  • Ability to earn overtime and/or time in lieu.
