Job Summary

The Organisational Change Management Specialist will serve as the primary advisor to the Program Leadership Team, providing expert guidance on organisational change management risks and strategies. This role will be responsible for planning and governing the delivery of organisational change management activities for each project, ensuring that changes are effectively implemented across the organisation with minimal disruption to business as usual.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement organisational change management strategies for new projects in collaboration with assigned project leads.
  • Provide ongoing support and coaching to project leads and teams on project organisational change management requirements and stakeholder engagement.
  • Develop pre-engagement plans for project leads in the lead-up to major milestones and stage gates.
  • Design and disseminate communication materials to be sent by project leads and/or stakeholders for important announcements.
  • Facilitate regular organisational change management meetings with project leads as required.
  • Review project presentations for organisational change management efficacy.
  • Troubleshoot organisational change management approaches for each project as needed.
  • Deliver the organisational change management update at the weekly program leadership meeting.
  • Conduct pulse checks and ad-hoc engagements with key program stakeholders.
  • Continuously improve program procedures and guidance notes with organisational change management best practice.

Requirements

  • Strong consultative background with a history of applying skills such as problem-solving, strategy development, influencing, and planning.
  • Comprehensive understanding of how people go through change and the change process.
  • Experience applying change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Experience with large-scale organisational change efforts.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Reliability engineering, maintenance, asset management, SAP, and/or GE APM experience will be highly regarded.
