About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Swimming Teacher to join our team at the Danny Frawley Centre in Melbourne's south east.

As a Swimming Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering effective swimming and water safety lessons to students of all ages and abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach swimming and water safety skills to students in a fun and engaging manner
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs of students with diverse abilities and learning styles
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, parents, and colleagues
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of swimming programs and services
Requirements
  • Current Swim Teacher Certificate – Teaching of Swimming and Water Safety
  • Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
  • Working With Children Check (or equivalent) & National Police Check
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends
