About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Swimming Teacher to join our team at the Danny Frawley Centre in Melbourne's south east. As a Swimming Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching effective swimming and water safety techniques to students of all ages and abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach swimming and water safety classes to students of all ages and abilities
  • Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of students
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents and students
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure a high-quality learning environment
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
Requirements
  • Current Swim Teacher Certificate – Teaching of Swimming and Water Safety
  • Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
  • Working With Children Check (or equivalent) & National Police Check
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Flexibility to work mornings, evenings and weekends
