About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced educator to join our Senior College team as a Design and Technology teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Design and Technology (Woodwork) and other related subjects to students in our Senior College.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Design and Technology (Woodwork) and other related subjects to students in our Senior College
  • Develop and implement engaging and effective lesson plans that cater to the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support student growth and development
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum programs that meet the needs of our students
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the social, emotional, and academic needs of our students
Requirements
  • Hold a formal teaching qualification, specialising in Design and Technology / Arts areas
  • Hold ACT TQI registration
  • Hold a current WwVP registration
  • Be eligible to work in Australia
  • Have experience teaching Design and Technology (Woodwork) and other related subjects
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire young people
  • Be able to work collaboratively in a dynamic team setting
  • Have a strong commitment to student wellbeing
