**Job Description:** Visiting Medical Officer in General Practice - Tomaree Hospital.
Join the team at Tomaree Hospital as a passionate and experienced Visiting Medical Officer in General Practice.

**Key Responsibilities:** Provide medical services including admitting, consultative, diagnostic, procedural, outpatient, telehealth and on-call services as required by HNELHD. Attend work hours and be available during on-call periods to provide emergency and routine care. Contribute to teaching and support for staff and trainees to develop knowledge. Engage in management activities, leadership, safety and quality improvement where applicable. Pursue ongoing professional development and clinical governance. Advocate for improvements in individual and societal health.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:** Hold a primary medical degree registrable with AHPRA and Fellowship of the RACGP or ACRMM, and/or overseas trained specialist pathways. Demonstrate medical expertise in General Practice through recent and comprehensive experience. Possess strong communication skills, collaboration, and adaptability within a changing health system. Show evidence of scholarship and ability to teach and support staff and trainees.
