Job Title

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Allied Health Assistant to support our Transitional Aged Care Program team in delivering high-quality patient care services.

The successful applicant will have a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistant or relevant qualification, and possess excellent communication and organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care to clients, patients, or consumers through routine evaluations, treatment preparation, and service-related information.
  • Assist in assessing individual needs to design and deliver therapeutic programs under the guidance of Allied Health Professionals.
  • Effective communication of observations to supervisors and healthcare team members for care planning and treatment.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as word processing, phone calls, photocopying, and inventory tracking.
Requirements:
  • Possess a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistant or relevant qualification.
  • Hold a current unencumbered NSW driver's licence and willingness to travel across sites.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a health environment with various patient cohorts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy.
  • Able to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, and work within scope of practice.
