About the Role

As a key member of our underwriting team, you'll be responsible for assessing new business, additions, or alterations for our life risk products. You'll develop and maintain relationships with our key advisers, providing technical advice and support to ensure that underwriting standards and service level agreements are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Extensive experience in underwriting individual term life, income protection, TPD, and trauma insurance with high-level individual underwriting authorities.
  • Customer-focused with a solutions-driven approach.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and processes, ensuring seamless integration and continuous improvement within dynamic environments.
  • Experience coaching and mentoring staff, with the ability to uplift capability.
  • Completion of medical terminology course.
  • ANZIIF and ALUCA CPLI certifications, strongly desired.
