Medical Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to perform laboratory investigations, front-end activities, and other tasks as directed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform laboratory investigations by applying established methods and procedures.
  • Conduct front-end activities such as specimen reception and data entry.
  • Maintain analyzers, perform quality control, and adhere to NATA accreditation standards.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Laboratory Technology or equivalent qualification from a recognized tertiary institution.
  • Proven knowledge and experience in pathology services, including use of Laboratory Information Systems, Patient Systems, and Quality Systems.
  • Ability to work efficiently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused approach.
  • Initiative, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to apply established principles and investigate complex issues.
