Exchange Migration Expert

As a skilled Solution Architect / Systems Engineer, you will lead the migration of On-Prem Exchange to Cloud, aiming for seamless decommissioning of the on-prem environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and execute the migration project with minimal disruption.
  • Implement Exchange login capabilities and SMTP relay connections in a cloud-based setup.
  • Integrate Proofpoint into the cloud environment to ensure secure and compliant email delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to facilitate a smooth transition.
  • Develop and deliver technical documentation, handover materials, and operational readiness plans.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Exchange, SMTP, and Proofpoint integration.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Proven expertise in Microsoft Exchange environments.
  • Strong background as a Solution Architect and/or Systems Engineer in enterprise settings.
  • Experience with SMTP relay configuration and Exchange authentication mechanisms.
  • Hands-on experience with Proofpoint integration in cloud-based systems.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Previous experience in healthcare or government environments is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and project documentation standards is beneficial.
