Senior Systems Engineering Professional

We are seeking a skilled Senior System Engineer to provide specialist engineering expertise for system management and projects in support of our National Technical Monitoring System.
You will be responsible for maintaining system performance and reliability in accordance with Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) Regulation 171, while actively supporting your team by offering expert engineering oversight and guidance.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Investigating, managing and implementing corrections, enhancements and upgrades on supported systems.
- Maintaining system documentation, policies and standards.
- Developing proposals and estimates for system changes and improvements.
- SUPPORTING field maintenance staff in deploying system changes and resolving system issues.
- Participating in projects and leading the creation of project engineering artefacts.
We require an Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications, Information Technology or similar engineering degree, or certified equivalent international qualification. You must also have experience in PLC, SCADA RTU/Telemetry, IT/OT networking systems and protocols, as well as demonstrated experience integrating legacy systems.
Australian citizenship is required for this role, as an Australian AGSVA security clearance is necessary.
