About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Childcare Team Leader. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality programs and services to children and families.

About You:

  • You have a passion for working with children and a strong commitment to providing a safe and supportive environment.
  • You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • You are a team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic, able to work collaboratively with others to achieve shared goals.
  • You have a valid Working with Children's Check and are willing to undergo a Child Protection/Mandatory Reporting certificate relevant to your state.
  • You are committed to ongoing professional development and are eager to take the next step in your career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging programs and services to children and families.
  • Support local families by providing quality before and after school care and Holiday Programs for their child.
  • Utilise your management skills and support a team of educators.
  • Weekly administration tasks such as planning/programing.
  • Create positive relationships within the school community.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the childcare/OSHC industry.
  • Completed or in the process of completing an ACECQA recognised qualification, including but not limited to, studies in Teaching, Childcare or Community Services.
  • Valid HLTAID012 First Aid in a Childcare Setting (including First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training).
  • Food Handling certificate relevant to your state.
