We are seeking a strategic Account Manager to join our team in Sydney. As an experienced professional, you will be working on high-profile brands and businesses across financial services, healthcare, technology, and professional services.

The role involves managing retained accounts and campaign work for major brands and organizations with diverse corporate communications requirements. You will foster strong relationships with media representatives on behalf of clients across key mainstream, business, and trade media.

This is a challenging opportunity for someone who can consistently deliver great results and has a passion for the Australian and global corporate environment and news media. Ideally, you will have 3+ years of experience working in a PR agency or similar environment on B2B and corporate communications.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the implementation of communications strategies for clients to grow and protect their corporate reputation
  • Foster strong relationships with media representatives and manage senior clients, media, and key stakeholders
  • Assist in the development and growth of junior team members

You should have:

  • A strong understanding of the Australian media landscape
  • Confidence in managing senior clients, media, and key stakeholders
  • Extensive media relations experience with a proven track record of generating coverage for clients
  • Strong writing skills and the ability to adapt writing styles for various channels
  • Exceptional attention to detail
