The Client Operations and Service Lead is a pivotal role within our organization, reporting directly to the Head of Operations. This position serves as the primary liaison for all client-related inquiries for a designated portfolio of clients. The ideal candidate will oversee the delivery of Client Service and Operational support for clients engaged in the Alternative Investments sector, which encompasses Property, Private Debt, Credit, and Private Equity funds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for all client-related inquiries for the assigned client group.
  • Comprehend the stipulations outlined in each client agreement and ensure that all commitments and timelines are adhered to consistently.
  • Facilitate quarterly governance meetings to assess performance against Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and other contractual obligations.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance process efficiencies between clients and internal teams, including implementing self-service options for clients.
  • Proactively oversee the daily operations of client accounts from an operational standpoint.
  • Create and maintain a calendar of events for all clients, ensuring that both operations and technology teams can meet SLAs.
  • Assist in managing all aspects of the platform through online administration tools.
  • Support the reconciliation of bank accounts, preparation of regulatory submissions, and the management of trust accounts as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in customer success, account management, or a related field, preferably within Asset Management.
  • At least 3 years of operational experience, ideally in Registry for unlisted assets within Asset Management, with a strong inclination towards client-facing roles.
  • Proven ability to establish and nurture relationships across various levels of management.
  • Strong organizational skills to facilitate the development and execution of plans that ensure all client obligations are fulfilled and projects are completed on time.
  • Ability to work independently with a high degree of self-motivation.
  • Demonstrated history of fostering collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Capability to adapt to changing client priorities and effectively manage client feedback.
  • A positive attitude and a collaborative team spirit.

This is a full-time position reporting to the Head of Operations.

The compensation for this role ranges from $110,000 to $130,000 base salary, plus superannuation and performance bonuses, commensurate with relevant experience.
