Training Manager Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Training Manager to join our management team.
This key role requires someone who can assist department heads in training and upskilling teams to achieve high-quality training outcomes.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in building trainer skills, designing and developing non-accredited training programs to enhance the delivery of quality engaging training and skills development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify individual training needs, qualification upgrades, and further qualifications attainment
- Collaborate with department heads to provide support to new mentors and trainers
- Train mentors and trainers in classroom management and student engagement
- Train mentors and trainers in workplace training delivery
- Evaluate trainer training and program delivery effectiveness
- Create and deliver trainer training-specific PD
- Monitor trainer PD and industry release schedules and completions
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of learning materials and delivery
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years in a training leadership position
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Training delivery skills
- Evaluation skills – ability to assess trainer effectiveness and quality delivery standards
- Leadership skills – ability to lead and motivate training teams
- Mentoring and mentoring program development or proven skills to create
- Experience in using Learning Management System software
Qualifications:
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or Diploma (requirement)
- Diploma of Leadership and Management (desirable)
- Mentoring Certification (desirable)
