At Waverley Christian College, we are seeking a part-time Secondary Teacher to join our team.

Job Description

As a qualified educator, you will be responsible for teaching Science and Computing to students from Kinder to Year 12.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles.

Assessing student progress and providing feedback to parents and students is also an essential aspect of this role.

You will contribute to the development of our curriculum and participate in the College's programs and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach Science and Computing to students from Kinder to Year 12.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents and students.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Be a qualified teacher and hold a current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
  • Have current First Aid qualifications and Anaphylaxis Certificate or be willing to obtain these prior to commencement.
  • Be able to show a commitment to the values and ethos of Christian education.
  • Have high level communication and interpersonal skills.
