Job Title: Assistant Director - EL1

Our client, a Federal Government department, is seeking an experienced Assistant Director to lead the development and implementation of their framework in line with the Commonwealth Fraud and Corruption Control Framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply relevant legislation and policies to drive project and program activities.
  • Maintain expert knowledge in relevant areas and provide advice and technical expertise to guide project and program activities.
  • Undertake risk assessment and risk management activities for a project or program.
  • Coordinate strategic planning for longer-term project initiatives and program management.
  • Manage a small team and report on program outcomes to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee and analyse project outputs, aims, and objectives.
  • Research, review, and evaluate projects and/or programs.
Requirements:
  • Experience in managing legislative, policy, or procedural compliance in a government setting, particularly relating to fraud.
  • Experience in project or programme management in a federal government, law-enforcement, Defence, or national security environment.
