Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Assistant to join our team at the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network on picturesque Kangaroo Island. As a Service Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the provision of exceptional care and services to our clients.

About Us:
The Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network is a unique and geographically diverse region, bordering the four Adelaide metropolitan Local Health Networks. With an employed workforce of over 3000 people, we offer a wide range of career opportunities across various disciplines.

The Role:
As a Service Assistant, your key responsibilities will include preparing, serving, and delivering food to clients, as well as maintaining general housekeeping standards. You will be working in a dynamic environment with a focus on providing high-quality patient care and promoting a safe and supportive work culture.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require a current driver's licence and a willingness to drive on country roads. You will also need flexibility and commitment to participate in a rostering system, including weekends as required. At minimum, you should have a limited level of experience in the areas of housekeeping, cooking/catering, and laundry. Additionally, you should possess knowledge of safe working conditions, Food Safety Standards, and Infection Control Standards. A basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is also essential.

Desirable Skills:
While not essential, it would be desirable for you to have completed Year 11 High School or equivalent. A current First Aid Certificate is also advantageous. Experience in the areas of housekeeping, cooking/catering, and laundry would be highly regarded.
