About the Role

The Logistics Driver is a key member of our Site Services Sydney Distribution Centre team, responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of equipment to and from customers, construction sites, and branches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure timely delivery of equipment
  • Load and unload equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to load restraint and mass principles
  • Operate a range of vehicles, including large and specialist equipment, and demonstrate the safe use of equipment
  • Proactively engage with scheduling to complete duties effectively and efficiently
  • Perform scanning, pickup, and delivery of equipment, and accurately record transactions
  • Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize delivery routes and schedules
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance knowledge and skills

About You

  • A current manual HR or MR License
  • Knowledgeable and compliant with Chain of Responsibility
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Previous experience in a customer service role, with a genuine interest in helping others
  • Time management skills, including the ability to plan ahead and reschedule in accordance with changes in priorities
