Financial Operations Director

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to drive business success and financial growth. As the Head of Finance, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and optimisation of financial operations.

The successful candidate will have expertise in managing complex and diverse stakeholder expectations and interests, with demonstrated ability to influence across organisational boundaries to guide business strategy. They will also be able to provide financial guidance to business leaders, influencing major strategic decisions and driving business and operational growth.

Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate and align the finance function across various operations, reporting, and analysis, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and seamless integration of financial data.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that financial data aligns with operational goals and strategic direction.
3. Regularly assess financial systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and drive operational excellence across the business.
4. Foster a trusted Business Partnering model within the finance team, promoting strong collaboration with other departments and business units to drive business success.
5. Oversee the preparation and publication of all financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
6. Advise on cost-effective financial solutions that align with business priorities, and develop financial forecasts and budgets to support growth and stability.
7. Lead financial systems projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications and skills:

• CPA or CA certified with a tertiary qualification in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• 10 years + experience in a senior financial roles and exposure to a complex, international business environment.
• Strong financial management experience, with expertise in strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making that drives long-term business growth.
• Expertise in managing financial risks, implementing internal controls, and ensuring compliance with governance and regulatory standards.
• A strong understanding of international tax, transfer pricing, and financial regulations across diverse regions.
• Excellent skills in managing complex and diverse stakeholder expectations and interests, with demonstrated ability to influence across organisational boundaries to guide business strategy.
• A history of providing financial guidance to business leaders, influencing major strategic decisions and driving business and operational growth.
