Transport Supervisor Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Transport Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods.

  • Monitor and control the movement of vehicles to meet operational demands and schedules.
  • Coordinate with drivers and dispatchers to ensure timely delivery and pick up schedules.
  • Promote a safe and positive work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Utilize company assets and contractors in a cost-effective manner.
  • Manage customer relations and ensure all legislative requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:

Job Requirements:

Previous experience in transport, logistics, refrigerated freight movements and allocations is essential.

  • Knowledge of transport regulations including Fatigue, Chain of Responsibility and Mass and Maintenance under NHVR.
  • Proficient user or transport systems and MS Office.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve overall objectives of a business.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Energetic, passionate and enthusiastic with a demonstrated focus on system improvement.
  • Flexibility to take calls as required on weekends.
