Senior Project Manager

The Mechanical Engineer plays a pivotal role in the project team, overseeing the construction delivery of allocated projects. This encompasses the upgrade of mechanical, electrical, civil, and process-related assets at the Wollongong Treatment Plant.
Main Responsibilities- Collaborate with Construction Leads to ensure allocated projects are completed on time, within budget, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop daily, weekly, and long-term project schedules to achieve required project outputs with plant resources, labor, materials, and workforce.
- Monitor and review costs, invoices, and claims for allocated projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Contribute to constructability during design development, identifying potential issues and proposing solutions.
- Evaluate tender responses, assess subcontract procurement packages, and negotiate terms.
- Inspect incoming equipment and materials against drawings and specifications, arranging corrections or modifications as needed.
- Analyze document management, progress reporting, project performance, and compliance reports.
- Manage the performance of Subcontractors and self-perform workforce to achieve desired outcomes.
- Liaise with external parties and statutory authorities, coordinating site attendance as required.
- Promote a safety-focused culture, emphasizing quality, environment, and community responsibilities.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, Building Construction, or equivalent.
- A minimum of 5-10 years' engineering experience.
- NSW Driver's License.
- White Card certification.
