Job Title: Senior Infrastructure Designer

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Infrastructure Designer to join our multidisciplinary water team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have experience in the design engineering of water and wastewater treatment plants, reservoirs, pump stations, and conveyance pipelines.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing design requirements, conducting site investigations, performing calculations, and developing models for water and wastewater treatment plants. Additionally, they will oversee drafting and preparation of reports and specifications, build strong client relationships, and provide solutions and services to clients both on- and off-site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Engineering: Review design requirements, conduct site investigations, perform calculations, and develop models for water and wastewater treatment plants.
  • Project Management: Oversee drafting and preparation of reports and specifications.
  • Client Relationship Building: Build strong client relationships and provide solutions and services to clients both on- and off-site.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a closely related field.
  • Experience in water and wastewater treatment and/or conveyance design.
  • Knowledge of safety in design, constructability, and operational practices and relevant Australian standards and WSAA codes.
  • Ability to identify project and design-related risks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate across a multidisciplinary team.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
