We are seeking a diligent and organized professional to support world-class research in the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Behavioural Sciences.

About This Opportunity

In this role, you will provide high-level administration and advisory support to academic staff in the UQ Medical School and other Schools or Centres within the Herston precinct.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert guidance on research administration processes, systems, and compliance, supporting onboarding and documentation across pre- and post-award activities.
  • Coordinate grant support, including triaging enquiries, identifying funding opportunities, and liaising with key stakeholders.
  • Support grant management, ensuring compliance with funding agreements and university policies through collaboration with finance, HR, and research governance teams.
  • Contribute to a high-performing research environment by embedding consistent processes, supporting strategic initiatives, maintaining research performance insights, and building strong cross-unit networks.
