About the Role

Linfox is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safety Quality Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our safety and compliance team, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our site through the implementation and operation of our Corporate Safety & Compliance Management Systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Safety Performance: Oversee the effective safety performance of the site, including contractors, and report on performance and continuous improvement actions.
  • Establish Objectives and Targets: Develop and implement effective and measurable objectives, targets, and KPIs for the Business Unit in line with our Corporate Safety & Compliance Management Systems and HACCP & SQF standards.
  • Liaise with Customers: Engage with customers in proactive safety initiatives and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Maintain HACCP & SQF Pre-requisites: Ensure all HACCP & SQF pre-requisites are up to date, including housekeeping, pest control, training, temperature monitoring, site maintenance, non-conformance reporting, document control, and GMP programs.
  • Develop Safety & Compliance Documents: Create and maintain all Safety & Compliance related documents, including SWPs, Risk Assessments, Emergency Management plans, Traffic Management, and other safety-related documents required by the site.
  • Training and Development: Determine training needs of employees on site and develop a training plan to ensure they receive the necessary training.
Requirements
  • Relevant Qualifications: Hold relevant OHS qualifications and have previous experience working with WHS/OHS in an operational environment, preferably in the food industry.
  • Experience with Safety Management Systems: Have experience with certified safety management systems and internal and/or external auditing, health and safety training, incident investigation, and compliance.
  • Risk Assessment Knowledge: Possess knowledge and practice of risk assessment and be able to work under pressure to achieve results.
