Leading Fleet Operations

Our company requires a skilled professional to manage our vehicle fleet, ensuring it remains safe and reliable. This role involves overseeing maintenance schedules, vendor relationships, and compliance with regulatory standards.

The Role of Our Fleet Manager

You will be responsible for managing a large diverse fleet in Australia, including scheduling, asset purchases, and disposal. Proficiency in Office365, especially Microsoft Excel, is essential, as well as strong administrative skills and a sound understanding of driving and commercial licensing regulatory requirements within Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee maintenance schedules and ensure vehicles meet safety standards
  • Manage vendor relationships and asset purchases
  • Comply with regulatory standards and accreditation across all states
  • Forecast needs and build renewal strategies for the fleet
  • Train leaders and staff on fleet management best practices

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diesel Mechanic experience in fleet management
  • Scheduling and management skills
  • Proficiency in Office365, especially Microsoft Excel
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Sound understanding of driving and commercial licensing regulatory requirements within Australia
