About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Team Leader to join our new program, providing support in a therapeutic home environment to clients aged 16 and over. This is a full-time, fixed-term position for 12 months in Wagga Wagga, NSW.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strong leadership and coordinate the requirements of the team on a day-to-day basis.
  • Ensure the provision of services and support to staff and young people in line with CareSouth's Practice Framework.
  • Provide case management for clients in the program.
  • Manage a team, including staffing, budget management, reporting, and accountability.
  • Work within a Therapeutic Framework model of care.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a related role.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Residential Care, Certificate IV in Community Services, Welfare, or other related areas.
  • Proven flexibility, adaptability, and ability to respond to changes in work demands.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a team.
  • Understanding of the ongoing effects of injuries, trauma, and/or neglect and abuse.
  • Experience working within a Therapeutic Framework model of care.
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills.
