Job Title: Inventory Flow Operations ManagerJob Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Inventory Flow Operations Manager. This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the inventory flow teams, including rostering, breaks, and ensuring key performance indicators (KPIs) are met.

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, with experience in planning, organizing, and monitoring the flow of goods within a warehouse environment. They will also be responsible for coaching and mentoring the inventory flow team to achieve success and empowering team members to grow and develop according to their individual ability and experience.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of improving productivity through efficient resource planning and will be able to provide input to their manager on logistics capacity requirements. They will also support the manager in managing the recruitment, retention, performance management, succession planning, and competence development of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support the day-to-day operations of the inventory flow teams.
  • Plan, organize, and monitor the flow of goods within the warehouse.
  • Counsel and mentor the inventory flow team to achieve success.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Support the manager in managing the recruitment, retention, and performance management of the team.

  • Proven experience in leading a team in a warehouse environment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and software.
