Chisholm Student Ambassador

The Student Ambassador program at Chisholm Institute aims to provide students with opportunities to develop their employability and enhance their career readiness. This program offers experiences and fosters transferable skills for future employment.
As a Student Ambassador, you will provide seamless service and engagement to all Chisholm students and prospective students, with the aim of improving social connectedness via peer-to-peer experience. You will lead by example, always displaying student-focused behaviors.
Key Responsibilities- Provide general assistance to current and prospective students in commonly accessed spaces, serving as the welcoming face of Chisholm.
- Support students in navigating physical and digital spaces to source the information they require, both face-to-face and via digital means.
- Promote self-service by helping students to independently find the information they need in the digital environment, aligning with individual skill sets and departmental needs.
- Maintain physical environments throughout Chisholm campuses and external exhibition events, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for students and prospective students.
- Assist with general office administration when required, including preparation and packing of marketing collateral for events, data entry, and other general office duties.
- Attend on-campus recruitment and pathways events, such as Open Nights, school expos, and tours.
You are currently enrolled and actively participating in a Chisholm Institute course with:
- Demonstrated experience in providing excellent customer service to clients.
- The ability to work collaboratively and adopt a teamwork approach.
- Ability and willingness to work across different departments and business areas throughout the Institute as required.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to quickly develop rapport and positive working relationships with colleagues from a broad range of social and cultural backgrounds.
- Sound understanding and awareness of Chisholm services, support, and functions.
