Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Grounds and Maintenance Officer to join our team at NRMA Parks & Resorts. As a key member of our grounds and maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the premium presentation and maintenance of our grounds, as well as providing incidental customer service assistance with minor maintenance repairs across our caravan and camping sites, cabins, amenities, and other facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the premium presentation and maintenance of our grounds, including gardening projects, basic mechanical repairs, and painting.
  • Provide incidental customer service assistance with minor maintenance repairs, including servicing water park, repairs, and maintenance as required.
  • Assist with ride on and push mowers, pruning, hedging, landscaping, and weed control.
  • Work unsupervised with a hands-on approach, utilizing your knowledge and understanding of basic hygiene requirements and safe working procedures.
Requirements
  • Experience in grounds and basic maintenance work, with trade qualification a bonus but not necessary.
  • Previous experience with ride on and push mowers, pruning, hedging, landscaping, and weed control.
  • Knowledge and understanding of basic hygiene requirements and safe working procedures.
  • Ability to work unsupervised with a hands-on work history.
  • High level of physical fitness and a positive attitude.
