About the Opportunity
Seeking an experienced HSE leader to support project delivery in Western Australia.
The ideal candidate will drive safety performance through proactive leadership and site presence, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HSE strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
- Mentor and empower supervisors and contractors to uphold HSE excellence.
- Lead incident investigations and support root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Implement and audit site-specific HSE management systems.
- Compile and issue HSE-based reports (incident reports, trends analysis).
- Support risk identification and management processes to reduce work activity risks.
- Review and monitor subcontractors' HSE management processes.
About You
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.
- Proven experience in a senior HSE role in maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and standards.
- Incident investigation experience (e.g., ICAM, Taproot Certification).
- A leadership style that is confident, collaborative, and solutions-focused.
