Homelessness Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Homelessness Support Specialist to join our Transitional Housing Team. The ideal candidate will possess experience working with young families and individuals who require short-term accommodation and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tenancy intake and assessment services, casework, and life-skills development for young people in need of homelessness support.
- Respond to enquiries and advise on options for accommodation and support.
- Develop and implement action plans tailored to each individual's unique needs and goals.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications or currently studying Youth work, Mental Health, Community Services, Human Services, or Social Work.
- Experience working with young families and individuals who have experienced trauma.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport quickly.
Benefits:
- A competitive salary of $37.35 per hour + super (Level 3 SCHADS award).
- Part-time role with a minimum of 67.5 hours per fortnight.
