At Fuse Recruitment, we're seeking a skilled Contracts Administrator to join our client, Queensland Hydro, in driving the future of renewable energy in Queensland.

As a key player in large-scale renewable energy projects, you'll collaborate with a team dedicated to innovation and excellence, contributing to the state's energy future while developing your career in a forward-thinking organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage contractual correspondence, notices, and claims for major contracts and subcontractor arrangements.
  • Formulate contracts based on estimates, budgets, and timeframes.
  • Ensure contractor compliance and provide necessary guidance.
  • Lead commercial aspects within project teams to ensure delivery on time and within budget.
  • Mitigate project risks and maximise value to Queensland Hydro.
  • Support internal legal teams with contract-related issue resolution.
  • Implement and manage contract administration plans, systems, and procedures, including contract startup and closeout activities.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Post-graduate qualifications in a relevant area or significant applied experience.
  • At least five years of experience in a similar role.
  • Tier 1 experience is a must.
  • Strong knowledge of contract principles and financial management.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects with shifting deadlines.
  • Strong stakeholder relationship skills with a focus on achieving win-win outcomes.
  • Understanding of infrastructure project delivery requirements.
  • Willingness to travel and respond to stakeholder requests at short notice.
