Cloud Database Engineer

This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Cloud Database Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance and availability of SQL Server databases in a 24x7 environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, upgrade, monitor, maintain, and manage multiple SQL Server databases.
  • Perform database and application tuning.
  • Establish and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures.
  • Implement and maintain database security.
  • Create, maintain, and monitor SQL Server databases.

We are looking for a skilled professional with experience in managing PostgreSQL database systems, maintaining SQL Server mission-critical databases, and implementing and maintaining database replication.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in managing PostgreSQL database systems.
  • 5+ years maintaining SQL Server mission-critical databases.
  • 5+ years of TSQL programming.
  • 2+ years implementing and maintaining database replication.
  • 2+ years implementing and maintaining SQL Server Availability Groups.
  • Ability to work with technical and non-technical people.
  • Hands-on experience in multiple versions of Postgres or Oracle database.
