Data Governance & Master Data Management Professional

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Specialist to join our team and lead the development of a modern data governance framework. This is a permanent opportunity to deliver a greenfield transformation, with flexible work arrangements available.

This role will provide you with the chance to shape the data governance and master data management frameworks and establish principles for effective data stewardship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and enable an active and modern data governance framework and processes.
  • Develop and administer the master data governance framework and processes.
  • Manage the deployment of appropriate data catalog and master data management platforms.
  • Develop and implement data quality strategies, including data cleansing, standardization, and simplification.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify and resolve data-related issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong experience working in large complex enterprise data environments.
  • Expertise in master data management, data governance, change management, and data quality strategies.
  • Experience implementing data catalog, master data platforms, and promoting their use for increased data literacy.
  • Working knowledge of cloud ERP systems, such as PeopleSoft, SAP, or Oracle.
