As a key player in the digital health landscape, we are seeking an experienced Digital Health Advocate to drive initiatives that enhance service delivery and patient outcomes across Western Australia.

The successful candidate will contribute to the design, implementation, and evaluation of digital health projects aligned with our strategic goals. This proactive and adaptable professional must be able to navigate a dynamic environment, champion innovation, and support the meaningful use of digital health tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support general practices and primary healthcare providers to adopt and utilise digital health tools, including My Health Record and telehealth.
  • Drive adoption and use of MyHR by facilitating cross-views of MyHR records authored by different health professionals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with general practice, community pharmacy, allied health, and residential aged care providers.
  • Help Residential Aged Care Homes (RACHs) embed the use of telehealth to connect residents to their healthcare providers.
  • Identify and communicate local digital health professional success stories and case studies.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in organising and facilitating events and training sessions for healthcare providers.
  • Support data collection and reporting requirements as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Excellent understanding of how digital health tools are utilised in primary care. Working as part of a project team.
  • IT proficiency and data collection/reporting skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work within teams and individually and to adapt to changing environments.
  • Event planning and facilitation experience.
