Job Overview

The role of Head of Sales in Australia is a pivotal position that requires an individual with exceptional leadership and sales skills.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this dynamic leader will drive sales growth across the region by developing and executing strategic plans to achieve revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of clients and markets to leverage research offerings, identify opportunities for growth and expansion, and contribute to the development of the group's sales strategy.
  • Client Relationships: Pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts, expand the firm's presence and services offered to clients, and maintain and grow existing client relationships to ensure contract renewals.
  • Leadership: Lead a team of 2 sales/sales support professionals and drive them towards achieving sales targets.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare and deliver proposals, pitches, and presentations to secure new projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5-10 years of sales strategy or marketing experience in the Financial Services industry.
  • Tertiary degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Handle complex situations and tough decision-making.
  • Strong judgment and critical thinking.
  • Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Experience with Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Client Relationship Management Tool experience.
