Strategic Leadership Opportunity

This is a challenging opportunity to lead a team providing business and information support functions to Navy senior leadership.

The successful applicant will work with the Director Navy Strategic Committees Secretariat to lead a team that facilitates and prepares Navy's Senior Leadership Group participation and involvement in Defence Strategic Committees. As a team, you will provide advice within Navy regarding committee processes and coordinate and act as Secretary to Navy Strategic Committees.

This role requires excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with some of the key duties including:

  • Managing Information and Records Management Activities
  • Providing Advice and Interpreting Policy Requirements
  • Managing the Navy Committees Schedule
  • Acting as Secretary for Navy Strategic Committees
  • Conducting Compliance Monitoring and Reporting Activities
  • Cultivating Effective Networks and Relationships
  • Working Collaboratively with Stakeholders
  • Managing Security Classified Defence Documentation
