Civil Labourer and Machine Operator Role

At our organisation, we are seeking experienced and skilled Civil Labourers and Machine Operators to join our team based in Perth Metro/Jandakot.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who possess strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on experience with small concrete and paving works, pit and pipe installation, standing poles, excavation, and proficiency in using hand tools and operating machinery.

We require applicants to hold a MR or HR licence, have full working rights (PR or Aus Citizen), and demonstrate physical stamina and the ability to work in different weather conditions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting civil works to assist with property and large scaled infrastructure construction sites. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in site preparation, maintenance, and machine operation.
  • Manual tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying construction materials.
  • Operating machinery and equipment according to procedures.
  • Loading and unloading materials and equipment.
  • Supporting tradespeople and collaborating with team members.
  • Performing routine maintenance and repairs on machinery.
  • Troubleshooting operational issues and ensuring quality control.
  • FOLLOWING safety guidelines and maintaining a clean work area.

To be successful in this role, applicants must possess strong teamwork and communication skills, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols. Additionally, technical competence in operating specific machinery, mechanical aptitude, and problem-solving skills are essential.
