The Role:

  • You'll be the primary point of contact for clients on event days, ensuring seamless execution and exceeding their expectations.
  • Manage event setup and breakdown, guaranteeing all details are meticulously executed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure flawless event execution and exceptional guest satisfaction.
  • Oversee the operations of our Beaches Restaurant, driving exceptional service and culinary excellence.
  • Handle operational duties, including opening and closing procedures, to maintain high standards.
  • Assist with roster planning, ordering, and social media content to enhance our resort's online presence.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, upholding our commitment to guest well-being.

What You'll Bring:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or food and beverage environment within a resort or hotel at a supervisory level.
  • Previous leadership or management experience, with a proven track record of success.
  • A valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) qualification and a current Food Safety Certificate.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a strong focus on guest satisfaction and team collaboration.
  • A passion for food and beverage, with a solid knowledge base to drive culinary excellence.
  • A hands-on leader, who leads by example, builds a strong team culture, and sets the scene for high performance.
  • A positive and proactive approach, with the ability to work under pressure and problem-solve.
  • Excellent grooming standards, professionalism, and reliability.
  • The ability to work a flexible roster, across all days, including weekends, days, evenings, and public and/or school holidays.
