Job Description

As a Product Technologist, you will play a key role in shaping the future of fresh produce at Coles Group. Your primary responsibility will be to drive quality and compliance standards for our brand products.

  • Create value by executing the brand strategy and ensuring commercial outcomes.
  • Lande new innovative products, reviewing past product performance and driving business growth.
  • Deliver supplier accountability and performance in quality and safety.
  • Engage and collaborate strategically with category teams and suppliers.
  • Apply strategic thinking to instigate and drive change in the industry.

You will work closely with our growers to ensure that quality and compliance standards are met while driving product innovation.

About You and Your Skills

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Technical management experience in agriculture or a related field.
  • High care experience is highly desirable.
  • An understanding of labelling and ingredient declarations.
  • Proven experience in supplier management, investigations, traceability, audit response, and data analysis.
  • Understanding of food safety requirements, ethical and sustainability platforms.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Fresh Produce Supply Chain.
  • Strong planning, time management, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills.
