About the Role

The Chief Brand Officer reports directly to the CEO, playing a pivotal role in elevating the profile of this NFP's significant cause. Develop and oversee annual brand, communication, and stakeholder engagement strategies to achieve strategic goals of awareness, advocacy, and engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Brand Leadership - Inspire and support the brand team by fostering a high-performance culture aligned with the organisation's values and philosophies.
  • Strategic Brand Development - Lead initiatives across brand positioning, stakeholder engagement, promotions, and traditional/digital media under the direction of the CEO.
  • Media Management - Build relationships with media partners and outlets, ensuring impactful media coverage, manage campaigns, PR activities, and respond to media inquiries with professionalism.
  • Brand Positioning - Maintain and grow brand equity, ensure consistency across digital channels, campaigns, and marketing collateral.
  • Event Planning - Collaborate with the CEO to plan and execute impactful community events and awareness campaigns.
  • Content Creation - Oversee production of marketing collateral, annual reports, newsletters, and thought leadership pieces.
  • Financial Management - Work with finance teams to manage budgets and ensure financial targets are met consistently across brand activities.
  • Relationship Building - Foster and nurture relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, advocating for continuous improvement in processes and outcomes.
