Job Overview

The role of Senior Software Engineer involves coordinating the implementation of a banker workbench application. You will instill a growth mindset and innovative ways of working, providing expert advice and hands-on delivery relating to technology, solution design and implementation.

You will contribute to technology enablement of digital engagement channels within the Customer Channel and Data Domain. This will focus on strategic outcomes for both Business Banking and Customer Net Promoter Score (NPS) improvements.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the implementation of the banker workbench application, fostering a culture of innovation and growth.
  • Provide technical expertise and support in the design, development, and deployment of software solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products that meet business requirements.
Qualifications and Skills
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering, preferably in a complex banking environment.
  • Hands-on experience with modern software development tools and technologies, including Next.js, TypeScript, React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles, including design patterns, testing, and debugging.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure, and containerization using Docker.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
