
Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering occupational rehabilitation services that empower individuals to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

We are seeking a highly skilled Rehabilitation Counsellor who can make a meaningful impact in the lives of others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage caseloads with support from colleagues to ensure efficient administrative tasks
- Collaborate with employers and employees to develop injury prevention and workplace education programs
- Identify alternate employment pathways and assist employees in sourcing new opportunities using labour market knowledge
- Work collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical, and allied health professionals
- Provide evidence-based psychological interventions to promote positive outcomes
- Conduct assessments including initial assessments, treatment plans, psychosocial barriers to employment, and vocational assessments for injured workers
We seek a highly qualified and experienced Rehabilitation Counsellor with:
- Tertiary qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling or Health Sciences, with postgraduate qualification in Rehabilitation Counselling
- Registration with AHPRA or Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC) or Full Membership with the Rehabilitation Counselling Association of Australia (RCAA)
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work autonomously as well as within a team environment
- A passion for injury prevention, return to work, and associated health benefits
- A current driver's licence and access to a vehicle
